Bread Factory growth

The investment plan for the expansion of the Bread Factory brand is in full swing, as the company’s new food hall in the city of Larissa has already been operating for a month, while preparations for the next store on the outskirts of Athens are underway.
The company, in the context of a planned €3 million investment scheme, is looking for new places for the expansion of its concept within the region of Attica as well as in other areas in Greece with significant purchasing power.
The Bread Factory store in Larissa is located at the junction of Karditsis and Echekratidas streets, operating on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week. The store sells, in addition to bakery and confectionery products, traditional Greek cooked food, coffee as well as pre-packed food and beverages at distinct, separate sections.

An innovative concept

Bread Factory is constantly evolving the product mix offered in its stores, putting special emphasis on the processed food department. Lately the company has been in the process of enriching its in-store available products with the addition of new offerings from well-known F&B brands as well as selected authentic Greek products by small producers. These products were selected following a survey of customer preferences in order to expand the company’s customer base and provide a comprehensive shopping and gastronomic experience.
In fact, the new Bread Factory management under Mr Athanassios Kolokythas, looks forward to the expansion of its branch network in key points in Attica and beyond, but also to the strengthening of the food hall concept with the further addition of new products and new, speciality food categories.
The so far successful Bread Factory concept currently operates 8 food hall stores, of which 7 are located in Attica and one in Larissa.
