A new report highlights the dynamic course of Greek extra virgin olive oil exports in Great Britain, as well as their future potential –even in a post-Brexit scenario.

Current estimates suggest global production will reach almost 3.11 million tons of olive oil in 2020, while 3.14 million tons are expected to be consumed by the end of the year.
Although global trade is experiencing an unprecedented crisis due to the spread of COVID-19, Greek Food & Beverage exports have nevertheless demonstrated a steady increase, with an annual average trend of approx. 18%.
Innovation, safety, consistency, adherence to European specifications, and sustainability are key to the constant development of aquaculture in Greece.
